Important for your Notary Appointment near Miami Florida 33130
In order to have the most successful appointment with any Notary, you will need to have the document you wish to have Notarized in hand or be able to email it to contact@unlimitedinknotary.com immediately following the placement of your order so the Notary may print it out for you. Please note if you are filling out any government forms you will need to read the instructions prior to your appointment. Notaries are not allowed to create, suggest, or guide you in any way on what types of documents you need Notarized and it is your responsibility to ensure you execute the document in the correct color ink. If you are unable to present a printed copy of the document, you need Notarized you may email it to our team at contact@unlimitedinknotary.com immediately after scheduling your appointment and the Notary will print the documents for you before heading out to your appointment at no additional charge. Please note that we do not provide witnesses, other than Notaries, for documents. If your document calls for additional witnesses (other than the Notary) you must have those in place and present by the time the Notary arrives, or you may schedule your appointment at a public venue where it may be easier to ask a police officer or employee who is willing to serve as a witness. We suggest Chick-fil-a, Starbucks, or even a public grocery store. Witnesses are suggested to be not named in within the document or a party to the transaction at hand.
You will also need a NON-EXPIRED State Issued ID or Driver's License or US Passport or one of these items that has not expired within the past 5 years according to the National Notary Assocation. If you are notarizing documents for a Real Estate transaction that involves a loan or lender you must check first with the lender if they will accept the Notarized document if it has been notarized on an expired ID (some will not). If you are not a United State Resident, we are still able to use your Foreign Passport in Florida as long as your passport is 1) current, or if expired, issued within the past 5 years and, 2) bears a serial or other identifying number according to the National Notary Association (This ability is always subject to change so it is always ideal to have your US Driver's License handy when possible when you Notarize a document). If you are without any form of ID the only way a Notary may proceed is through credible witness, but you will need two of them who know both you and the Notary (which is highly unlikely).
When your Notary Public arrives you (or the signer you have scheduled for) must be coherent and willing to sign the document. Any hesitations or reluctancy will give the Notary reason to refuse your appointment as they are not allowed to persuade signers or guide them to willingness to sign documents. The Notary's sole purpose in your signing is to verify your identity and make sure you are truly willing (wanting to sign). They will not Notarize your document if you seem in any way reluctant or disoriented. When scheduling hospital/jail signings for others we highly recommend ensuring the signer is 100% ready to sign. Please make sure if you are booking your appointment for anyone other than yourself that you have gone over the paperwork with them, and they are willing to sign the document.
